SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A woman accused of letting her friend die of a drug overdose is expected to be in court today.

Eighteen-year-old Macall Aubrey Peterson is required to show up at the West Jordan courthouse today.

However, she's failed to show up for the last two court appearances.

Peterson is accused of injecting 18-year-old Amelia Sorich with a mix of cocaine and heroin at a party last summer that eventually killed her.

Petersen and a 19-year-old man then allegedly dumped Sorich's body in the Bountiful foothills.

She's charged with several felonies, including negligent homicide, abuse of a dead body and obstruction of justice.
