SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Officials say Utah's snowpacks this month are in good shape, expect for the southeastern corner.
Utah's chief snow surveyor, Randy Julander, says northern Utah's snowpacks are really doing quite well. And this week's storm just helped give it a boost.
Right now, he says the Uintah Basin and the Weber and Bear rivers are at 125 percent to 150 percent.
Central Utah's snowpacks are close to average for this time of year. Julander says even though the Sevier River is down a bit, it still has a good reservoir storage. So, he says it will likely be OK.
However, the southeastern section is the driest part of Utah. That includes places like Monticello and Blanding. Julander says that region has "dismal" snowpacks.
