HOLLADAY -- About 50 students at a Holladay charter school walked out of class Thursday morning in protest.
Parents joined students in protesting the Utah State Charter Board's decision to revoke Beehive Science and Technology Academy's charter at the end of the school year.
Board members pointed to problems with financial sustainability and the school's failure to increase enrollment.
The last thing this state needs is another school shut down and students being left high and dry.

"The last thing this state needs is another school shut down and students being left high and dry," said parent Aaron Frazier.
Students and parents were also rallying in support of a teacher recently put on administrative leave. They say the teacher was trying to start another school so students would have another option this fall.
