SALT LAKE CITY — Rivalry week has come and gone.

The Utes won their sixth-straight contest over BYU, 20-19 on Saturday night, and former Utah standout Christian Cox and BYU linebacker David Nixon joined SportsBeat to break down the 97th incarnation of the big game.

Was Kalani Sitake’s decision to go for two instead of kick a PAT the right one? We’ll break down the decisive final play in the video above.

“Yeah, I’d do it again,” Sitake said after the game. “When we scored a touchdown, nobody ran off. They planned on scoring a touchdown, we did, and we planned on going for two.”

The guys will also talk about the decision to eject Kai Nacua and Austin McChesney for targeting (complete with the epic sideline rant by Sitake thereafter), Utah’s 12-minute drive in the fourth quarter, and how Troy Williams fared in his first taste of the rivalry game.

We then turn our attention to Utah State and Southern California, which needs little explanation. The Aggies went to Los Angeles, and USC came out with a crushing win. How do head coach Matt Wells and Co. regroup in time to face Arkansas State at home this week?
