SALT LAKE CITY — With Valentine's Day upon us, the mind turns to romance.

And what could be a better way to spend the hearts-and-chocolate holiday than curled up with your favorite streaming services, watching fictional television characters fall in love?

'Once Upon A Time:' Snow Drifts/There's No Place Like Home

The season 3 finale found Captain Hook and Emma Swan being pulled into a time portal that transported them to a time before her parents had met and fallen in love. While it's fun to relive all the great Snowing moments from Season 1, the real romance is between Captain Hook and Emma Swan. Watch Princess Emma and her handsome pirate sweep around the dance floor, momentarily distracted from their back-to-the-future-style hijinks in the enchanted forest.

Best line: "You're depriving me of a dashing rescue!"

Watch both episodes: Netflix

'Parks and Recreation:' Smallest Park

When Ben and Leslie meet, they find each other annoying. But as they work together, the feelings they develop for each other are complicated by the workplace rule that prevents them from dating. Eventually, they realize they can't be without each other, in Pawnee and the world's smallest park.

Watch them discuss their options, and share a very sweet kiss. Best line: "There is another option. We could just say, 'screw it' and do this thing for real." Watch the whole episode: Netflix

'Veronica Mars:' Look Who's Stalking

Fans of LoVe (that's LOgan and VEronica for non-shippers) will always remember when, at the alterna-prom, Logan uses some liquid courage to loosen his tongue and tell Veronica how much he's always cared about her. Watch the star-crossed lovers banter their way to a serious moment, where a girl realizes she might still be in love with a boy … even if their relationship is fraught. Best line: "Spanning years and continents. Lives ruined. Bloodshed. Epic." Watch the whole episode: Amazon Prime

'The OC:' The Telenovela

Awkward nerd Seth demands that popular girl Summer make their relationship public, even though she's scared. Cutting off the line at her kissing booth (it's for charity!), he stands on top of a coffee cart and declares his luv for his soulmate. Watch the perfect pair have a big public make-out session in the middle of their lunch period. Best line: "Yes, I listen to emo. And I'm dating her." Watch the whole episode: CW Seed

'Lost:' The Constant

If you have a heart in your body, you will be gutted by Desmond and Penny's relationship. She waits for him, she searches for him, she loves him — and he thinks of nothing but her. Though every possible factor tries to keep them apart, their love is strong enough to hold them together. Watch them reunite over the phone and prepare to cry. Best line: "I've always loved you. I love you." Watch the whole episode: Netflix

'Friends:' The One With The Prom Tape

Being in an unrequited love situation is miserable, especially if you've been in it since your bad 80s mustache days. When the friends find an old tape that reveals how long Ross has had feelings for Rachel, they're all waiting for the big moment.

Come for the poofy sleeves, stay for the kiss. Best line: "See? He's her lobster!" Watch the whole episode: Netflix

'Gilmore Girls:'Raincoats and Recipes

Everyone loves a good will-they-won't-they, but nobody does it better than Luke and Lorelai. He pines for her, she teases him. He makes her breakfast every single morning, she borrows his truck for three days to move Rory to Yale. But when he finally starts taking her on dates, he gets annoyed that his signals haven't been strong enough. Watch these two best friends take their relationship to the next level. Best line: "Will you just stand still?" Watch the whole episode: Netflix
