42 WALLABY WAY — Two new characters have been introduced into the Pixar family as part of the studio's anticipated 2016 summer flick, "Finding Dory."

"Meet Bailey and Destiny," a Facebook post on the official "Finding Dory" page said Wednesday, teasing to an Entertainment Weekly article featuring the exclusive content.

Ty Burrell of "Modern Family" fame will be the voice of Bailey, a beluga whale that meets Dory on her journey that begins six months after the events of "Finding Nemo" conclude. Similar to the infinitely forgetful character voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, Burrell's Bailey also has a deficiency: defective sonar.

In the interview with EW, Burrell expressed his excitement to be a part of the Nemo sequel.

"I'm a huge fan," he said. "It's hard to find the balance of very sweet, very funny and great adventure in a story."

Burrell isn't the only new personality taking part in the blue tang-centric adventure in Pixar's animated version of the deep blue sea. The second character revealed Wednesday, Destiny, will also make an entrance as voiced by "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" actress Kaitlin Olson.

Destiny is a whale shark whose quirk is that she can't swim straight, according to the EW interview. Olson said playing Destiny is a far cry from her day job on "It's Always Sunny," where playing Dee Reynolds isn't always so sweet.

"I'm a lot nicer in this movie than I am in my television show," Olsen told Entertainment Weekly. "It was a lot of fun to play that and be vulnerable."

"Finding Dory" has a returning cast of characters from "Finding Nemo," including Albert Brooks as Marlin, Willem Dafoe's Gill and Ellen DeGeneres reprising her iconic Dory role. Other new featured animated creatures yet to be introduced include Jenny played by Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy as Charlie.

With a premiere date of June 17, 2016, "Finding Dory" will swim into theaters this summer.
