ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) — Joey Feek is no longer able to get out of bed, but her husband says she is still fighting cancer.

Rory Feek, who with his wife makes up the country duo Joey + Rory, has been documenting his wife's battle with the disease on his blog, This Life I Live. Fans have been following their journey since Joey was diagnosed with cervical cancer a few months after she gave birth to their daughter, Indiana, in 2014.

The pair recently decided to end treatments for Joey's stage 4 cancer, for which she had undergone surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Joey was moved to hospice care in her native Indiana after doctors told her there was nothing more they could do for her.

Rory Feek wrote that his wife is strong despite being confined to her bed.

"There isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't look me and her family in the eye and say 'I'm gonna beat this', or 'I'm getting better, I believe that,' " he recently wrote. "And she asks me if I believe it, and I do."

He also shared moving images of his wife sleeping, spending time with their young daughter and dancing with him.

"A few days ago, on the last day Joey walked, I took her in my arms in the living room and once more put her hand in mine and we danced," he wrote. "She steadied with her cane and I softly moved her across the room singing George Strait's "You Look So Good In Love" in her ear. In the middle of the song though, as I was being careful not to step on her toes — she stopped and looked up at me and said, 'How about if I lead?' "

The pair came to fame after appearing in 2008 on the CMT reality singing competition "Can You Duet." They had a hit with their single "Cheater, Cheater" that same year. The couple also appeared in commercials for Overstock.com.

On Thanksgiving, the rural channel RFD ran a special that included episodes of "The Joey + Rory Show," a weekly series filmed a few years ago in the small town of Potsville, Tennessee, where they lived.
