SALT LAKE CITY — The positive news continued for the No. 4 Utes on Monday following its win over No. 23 Cal.

Running back Devonte Booker was named Pac 12 offensive player of the week and punter Tom Hackett took home Pac 12 special teams player of the week.

Booker ran for 222 yards and two touchdowns in the 30-24 win over the Golden Bears, and Hackett averaged 50.8 yards on four punts to help the Utes stay unbeaten and become the last undefeated team in the Pac 12.

It's a lot of hype for Utah in what is shaping up to be its best season as a member of the Pac 12. But each player knows bigger challenges await.

"You do kind of fan boy out a little bit and get excited, but at the same time it's like being up 21 points in the first quarter," junior offensive lineman J.J. Dielman said. "We have so much season left."

That leaves the Utes hungry for more, beginning this Saturday against Arizona State.

"This team deserves it," senior quarterback Travis Wilson said. "We've worked really hard and trying to prove a lot of people wrong. I'm just trying to make a statement, and I hope each week we can get better and be able to handle whatever comes next."
