HURRICANE — A man who went missing after rolling his vehicle Wednesday evening was located Thursday morning, police said.

The accident occurred just before midnight near 2260 W. 600 North, according to Hurricane City police Sgt. Brandon Buell. Police and medical responders were dispatched to the vehicle rollover after a concerned citizen driving through the area saw the crashed 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer, but police were unable to immediately find the driver.

Washington County Search and Rescue teams began searching for Manwaring in the area of the crash around 6 a.m. Thursday.

However, a concerned citizen located the missing driver, identified as 21-year-old Jeramy Lynn Manwaring, around 10:40 a.m., Buell said. The citizen took Manwaring to police who said he appeared to be uninjured and in good condition. He will be transported to an area hospital to be evaluated.

Police believe Manwaring was traveling westbound on 600 North when he drove off the roadway and overcorrected, rolling his vehicle. Police said Manwaring left his place of employment in Springdale and began driving home sometime around 10:30 p.m Wednesday. Buell said no one had heard from Manwaring since he left work.

"We don't really know what happened after the crash happened, where he would have gone to," Buell said.

The investigation is still ongoing, but Buell said police are thankful that Manwaring was found.
