ODGEN, Utah (AP) — LeShaun Sims and Taylor Nelson both returned interceptions for touchdowns and Southern Utah beat Weber State 41-0 on Friday night.

Sims picked off Justin Shaw midway through the second quarter and took it 26 yards to put the Thunderbirds up 14-0. Nelson's fourth-quarter pick of Shaw went for 19 yards.

Southern Utah (3-2, 2-0 Big Sky) went up 7-0 on Naia Ursua's 68-yard punt return for a touchdown and led 17-0 at the half when Keita Calhoun added a 33-yard field goal as time expired.

Mike Sharp and Jarom Healey had short touchdown runs in the third quarter. Ammon Olsen was 24 of 40 for 242 yards and completed passes to 12 different receivers.

Weber State (2-3, 1-1) turned it over six times. Shaw was 0 for 4 with three picks and Jadrian Clark went 12 of 30 for 134 yards with two interceptions.
