SALT LAKE CITY — This weekend, KSL TV will showcase a lineup of new, locally produced documentaries that will inform, inspire and uplift the human spirit. Here is the weekend lineup for the special programming that will take place:

History of the Saints, The Book of Mormon: Witnesses to a Miracle

Saturday, Oct. 3 @ 9:30-10 a.m.

Those who know the Book of Mormon are familiar with the testimonies of the three and eight witnesses. However, there were other witnesses who saw marvelous and miraculous things relating to the coming forth of the Book of Mormon. This documentary tells their story.

Love and Marriage: A Modern Take on a Traditional Vow

Saturday, Oct. 3 @ noon-1 p.m.

College campuses used to be a prime venue for not only gaining an education but also a spouse. That has changed with the recent rise in age at first marriage. It now stands at 27 for women and 29 for men — a historic high. This documentary looks at how this change is impacting the way people date and showcases why the traditional vow still matters in a modern society.

Now We Have 20

Saturday, Oct. 3 @ 1-1:30 p.m.

Doug and Deanne Walker always wanted a big family. At first they thought they'd have 10 kids but now they have 20. Nine of their children are biological, 11 are adopted. Follow them as they journey to China to adopt the newest member of their family. Watch as this close-knit family gratefully welcomes 4-year-old Simon into their hearts and home and hear why there is some heartache and uncertainty involved in the process.

Telling Our Story: The Church History Museum

Saturday, Oct. 3 @ 1:30-2 p.m.

The Church History Museum in Salt Lake City has undergone a major facelift, we go behind the scenes to watch it happen. See the construction of this new state-of-the-art facility and get a glimpse into some of the modern interactive exhibits and one-of-a-kind displays they have there. This major new attraction will be a highlight for visitors in Salt Lake City.

Four Families Four Faiths

Sunday, Oct. 4 @ 9-9:30 a.m.

We visit with members of Catholic, Jewish, Muslim and Hindu families and learn what they believe, how they worship and how they feel about living in Utah, which has a predominant faith.

We're Better Together: 30 Years of LDS Charities

Sunday, Oct. 4 @ 12-1 p.m.

Thirty years ago, members of the LDS Church were encouraged to fast and give offerings to help the suffering people of Ethiopia. The money poured in, and kept coming. As a result, the church organized LDS Charities, a group dedicated to providing humanitarian aid around the world. This documentary will explore the history of LDS Charities and show the impact this organization is having as it partners with reputable agencies in various countries. See the remarkable capacity the church has to quickly mobilize volunteer efforts and help people in distress regardless of race or religion. LDS Charities shows "We're Better Together" as it partners with others around the globe who are also seeking to provide relief.

The Dream Tour: Behind the Scenes with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir

Sunday, Oct. 4 @ 1-2 p.m.

With performances at Woodstock, Carnegie Hall, Yankee Stadium and West Point, choir members dubbed it the "Bucket-list Tour." This one-hour special takes you behind the scenes of all these magical performances around New York. Meet the small army of volunteers it takes to get the massive show on the road, hear moving accounts of how the music inspired people and see why this dream tour was an experience no one will forget.

Showtime in Branson: Celebrating Family, Faith and Country

Sunday, Oct. 4 @ 4-4:30 p.m.

Mormon families are no longer persecuted like they once were in Missouri. With the trail blazed by the Osmonds, LDS performers are now a big part of the landscape in Branson, Missouri. Wholesome entertainment, music and dance gain top-billing as shows focus on the importance of family, faith and a love of country. "Showtime in Branson" will introduce you to some of the big-name LDS performers in Missouri.
