TREMONTON — Police are looking for a man who allegedly went to an elementary school and tried to lure children to his car by saying he had candy, officials said.
Police responded to North Park Elementary school Thursday, where the man was reportedly offering candy to students if they would go with him, according to the Tremonton Police Department.
The man was driving a silver/gray four-door vehicle with writing on the windows and possibly the doors.
Some of the students said the writing on the side of the car said "candy."
Police stayed at the school for the remaining breaks and when school was let out for the day, according to police.
The man is described as an older male and was wearing a hat. He may have a beard, police said.
