SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz signed former VCU swingman Treveon Graham to a non-guaranteed contract Monday, bringing their training camp roster to 19 players.

Graham played in the Las Vegas and Utah Jazz Summer Leagues with the San Antonio Spurs, where he averaged 7.8 points (shooting 46.4 percent from the field), 2.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. He scored 17 points against the Jazz in the final game of the Utah Jazz Summer League.

This signing brings the Jazz's training camp roster to 19 players, meaning the Jazz have one more roster spot open before they reach the training camp roster limit of 20. A replacement point guard for Dante Exum is still a possibility.

Graham was very excited to be signed:

[All my life I been dreaming of this moment and it has finally came ... Just want to thank everyone that have been behind me from the beginning #dreamchasin #OKE #blessed #utahjazz](https://instagram.com/p/6bT5rpn48x/) A photo posted by Treveon Graham (@fr8train21) on

At VCU, Graham was a do-it-all player offensively, with the ability to score with a jumper or off the dribble. However, he does lack elite athleticism, making it an open question if he can contribute scoring at the next level. At summer league, he displayed his versatility, but also showed he needed to work on his jump shot, especially from the three-point line, where he shot 26 percent.

Still, he's the kind of young player that could develop into a contributor at the next level, if he makes some improvements on his game.
