SALT LAKE CITY — Jaycee Carroll knows he can still play in the NBA, but he's having plenty of fun in Europe as well.

Fresh off winning four European titles in one year with Real Madrid, the former Aggie wing stopped by the KSL Sports studio to talk about the accomplishment, playing in Spain and what it would take to get him in the NBA.

"Ever since (he first signed in Europe), I've had great teams and individual success," Carroll told KSL's Rod Zundel. "To tell the truth, though, I'm open to the opportunity to come back. I'm hoping that sooner or later, it will be a really tough decision."

Though Carroll has moved his family, including two bilingual young daughters, to Spain, the Wyoming native still calls the Intermountain West home, and he'd love to spend time on Utah's NBA team.

"A multiyear deal would be very enticing to me," he said. "I might be excited and think about a two-year deal. Money is something that's very important. I'm in a good situation over there, but I know an NBA team could come in and match it.

"My mother-in-law and my mother would be the first ones to get me over here. They want to see their grandkids (more). I just want to play basketball some more."

Carroll also talked about the Jazz's offseason additions, including former teammates Raul Neto and Joe Ingles, as well as former Barcelona rival Tibor Pleiss.

Meanwhile, in Logan, Carroll is excited for the Aggies' new era under head coach Tim Duryea. Carroll played four seasons under former coach Stew Morrill when Duryea was an assistant, and he's excited for Duryea's first chance at a head job in Division I.

"I'm so excited for him and the chance he has to show what he can do," Carroll said of Duryea. "He's already done a very good job. I just hope his golf game is a little rusty. I'm tired of having to buy him lunch afterward."
