MURRAY — A third convenience store in Salt Lake County was robbed in the past two days and police say the same man is responsible for all three.

Unified Police have connected this same man to two convenience store robberies that happened early Monday morning and are working to connect both of those to a third robbery in Murray that happened Monday night.

In the most recent armed robbery, police said the suspect walked into a Murray Chevron convenience store just after 10 p.m. Monday, pulled out a gun and told all the customers to get out. He then demanded money from the clerk and ran away.

Police say the suspect is a man in his late teens with a shaved head, a bandana over his face and using a black handgun, just like Monday’s robberies.

“Obviously the suspect has committed at least a couple armed robberies in our jurisdiction, and are violent in nature, we want to get him caught and off the street before somebody gets hurt,” said Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Unified Police Department at 801-743-7000.
