SALT LAKE CITY — It didn't take long for both Jazz rookies to get to work — by serving the community.

Trey Lyles, Olivier Hanlan and members of the Utah Jazz coaching staff held a clinic for 40 children from the Utah National Guard on Saturday.

The children have a parent or loved one deployed or have lost a family member in the line of duty. It's part of the NBA Cares Hoops for Troops program, giving the military families a chance to interact with the players, learn basketball skills and engage in other basketball-related activities.
