PROVO — BYU football announced Thursday morning the completion of their 2015 regular-season schedule.

While the matchups on the 12-game schedule are split evenly, with six home games and six road games already announced, broadcast information and kickoff times have been added for the majority of the Cougars’ home slate.

BYU opens the season Sept. 5 with its first-ever game against Nebraska at 85,000-seat Memorial Stadium. The Cougars then return to Provo for their home opener Sept. 12 against new regional rival Boise State, as the two teams play for just the fifth time in program history. The game will be broadcast on ESPN or ESPN2.

The Cougars finish September with a pair of road games, at UCLA on Sept. 19 and at Michigan on Sept. 26. Kickoff times and networks will be announced at a later date, but the game at Michigan will be played in the afternoon at the Big House.

BYU opens October with a Friday-night home contest Oct. 2 against UConn. The game, scheduled to kick off at 8:15 MT, will be broadcast on ESPN or ESPN2. The game starts a four-game homestand that also features East Carolina on Oct. 10, Cincinnati on Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. MT on ESPN, and New York-based Wagner on Oct. 24 at 1 p.m. on BYUtv.

The final month of the regular season then features three of four games on the road for BYU, opening at San Jose State on Nov. 6 at 8:30 PT on CBS Sports Network. The game will be the first of two CBS Sports games for BYU, including the season finale at Utah State on Nov. 28 at 1:30 p.m. MT.

BYU also has November dates against Missouri at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Nov. 14 and at home Nov. 21 against Fresno State for Senior Day. Kickoff times and broadcast information will be announced at a later date for those two contests.

In all, BYU’s schedule features two games against the Big Ten, one against the Pac-12, one against the SEC, three games against American Athletic Conference foes, four games against Mountain West opponents, and one against the FCS Northeast Conference.
