SALT LAKE CITY —The Salt Lake Bees and Fresno Grizzlies were halted in the 10th inning in a 3-3 tie at Smith's Ballpark when rain caused the game to be suspended.

The game will be completed in June when the Grizzlies return to Salt Lake.

The visitors held a 3-1 edge heading into the bottom of the fourth before Alfredo Marte and Roger Kieschnick both cleared the wall on back-to-back shots to even the score. The Bees narrowly missed the chance to plate the winning run in the bottom of the 10th when Efren Navarro knocked a two-out double, but the game was suspended before the Bees were able to capitalize.

The Bees hit the road and will face El Paso and Albuquerque for four game each before returning to Smith's Ballpark on May 4th to take on Tacoma.
