WAMSUTTER, Wyo. (AP) — Authorities say a 32-year-old man who was working on a disabled truck in the emergency lane of Interstate 80 in southern Wyoming was killed when he was struck by a commercial vehicle.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says Aleksandr Kozak, of Sacramento, California was hit by a vehicle that crossed onto the shoulder of the highway about 20 miles west of Wamsutter on Wednesday morning.

Sgt. David Wagener says the driver of the commercial vehicle, 48-year-old Edward Barrowes, of Salt Lake City, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, improper lane use and driving while ill or fatigued.
