SALT LAKE CITY — Two bear cubs joined the KSL-TV staff for an appearance previewing the International Sportsmen's Exposition.
The 2-month-old black bear cubs from Yellowstone Bear World just started walking one week before their visit and will gain an average of 5 pounds per week until they are full grown, according to their handler Courtney Ferguson.
The staff showed their sweeter sides and oohed and aahed over the baby animals while their handlers looked on.
The bear cubs will be available to hold for photo ops at the Sportsmen's Expo this weekend. Name suggestions for the bears will be accepted throughout the event.
