DOWN UNDER — We love to show you videos of people doing crazy stuff like flying through a small opening in a mountain in a wing suit or ridiculously entertaining Vine magic tricks in our Have You Seen This? posts. While those are all good and fun, every once in a while we like to show you something that both tugs at your heartstrings and inspires us to do good.

This video is one of those times.

The Australian radio station KIIS 106.5 likes to do what it calls a “Surprise Giveback,” where it finds people in need and helps them with whatever they may be struggling with. The latest recipient of this kindness was mother of four Michelle.

Michelle lost her 19-year-old son, Blaine, late last year to a freak accident at his job. Ever since, Michelle has been doing her best to balance work, being a mom to her three surviving children and grieving Blaine.

The hardworking Michelle got the surprise of a lifetime when she was riding in the car with her three kids and heard the KIIS morning show announce its latest “Surprise Giveback” was a mom wearing a light-blue top and riding in the car with her kids.

KIIS decided to pay Michelle’s mortgage for six months and donate cash toward working on landscaping on her home so she could take some time off work to be with her family.

The gesture is heartwarming and Michelle’s reaction is moving. Take a look and hopefully it will inspire all of us to find an opportunity to give back.
