Lindsie, her dad, and her grandfather had a successful do-it-yourself fishing trip to Alaska this past fall. This was Lindsie's first salmon on the fly and she wanted to experience everything herself. From tying on the fly, to hooking and landing her own silver salmon. After the first day, ol' Lindsie was right there catching fish after fish with dad and grandpa. Memories that will last this trio, a lifetime.

While out chukar hunting in some steep terrain, Brandon ran into some of the local inhabitants, fifteen mountain goats all feeding along a ridgeline. He happened to have his camera on him and stopped to take this cool shot of this goat staring back at him.

Out for their first ice fishing trip of year, Thomas and his dad were catching fish after fish at the berry. But, Thomas says, this particular rainbow was one to remember. This eight pound hog was caught by his dad. A great first outing with a big bow to boot!

Young Ryan grew up hearing the story of when his dear old grandpa dropped two ducks with one shot. This year on the youth duck hunt, Ryan out did them all. He was hunting with his dad when a flock of teal came flying in. He raised his gun and four birds dropped from the sky. Dad couldn't believe it, and Ryan was soon on the phone telling grandpa about how his hunt was not better than his.

and finally our winner tonight kicked off New Years day with a family drive up Kolob Mountain. Shay will often take his wife and kids along as pursues his hobby of photographing wildlife. This particular drive found them face to face with our symbol of American freedom. Shay says, the big bird allowed the kids to get their binoculars out and take a look as well as. He loves taking the family out and will at times pack a lunch or a BBQ to keep them going out with him.
