On Ethan's 11th birthday, Ethan got just what he wanted, a fishing trip with dad. Ethan ended up catching this huge 15 pound native cutthroat that put up one heck of a fight. With dad snapping the pictures, Ethan was all smiles. Even the big cutt turned to pose for the camera. The fish was returned to be caught another day.

Ten year old Brad has had quite the year. Last January, he and his mom passed hunters safety. Then in April, at first light of the youth Turkey hunt he bagged this nice jake with one shot. Then in September, he got his first duck, and in early December he bagged his very first swan. Randy says, as a dad, he couldn't be more proud!

Dustin Gleed helped, 18 year old Tanner, 15 year old Dylan and 14 year old TJ bag their first swans this year. Dustin say's "he was worried with the crazy weather we've had, that the boys wouldn't get a chance." but because of good guys like Dustin, they did just that. The boys were all thrilled with their kills and cannot wait to draw another tag.

While out taking photos with his father in-law in Northern Utah, Troy came across this mule deer buck and a couple of other photographers. Troy says, he and his father in-law are always trying to out do one another. And he think getting the photo of the deer and his father in law was the icing on the cake.

But our winner tonight had a great season hunting over his new German Shorthair pups. Dave and his brother both got two German Shorthair littermates. This shot is one of Dave's dads pup and his brothers pup on point. It was Dave's dad who instilled the love of hunting in his boys. Dave says, watching the dogs work their natural instincts and drive to hunt is what makes being in the outdoors so enjoyable. Dave, we couldn't agree more. Congrats on the pup and now our big prize for having just won...our snapshot of the week.
