SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Devin Watson scored 24 points, including six in overtime, Uche Ofoegbu blocked a potential game-tying 3-pointer, and San Francisco beat Santa Clara 89-86 on Saturday night.

Jared Brownridge's jumper pulled Santa Clara within 87-86 with 10 seconds left in overtime before he fouled out, and Watson made both free throws for an 89-86 lead.

Matt Hauser missed one of two free throws, then appeared to intentionally miss the second in hopes of setting up a final shot. KJ Feagin got the ball off the offensive rebound, but Ofoegbu blocked his 3-point attempt and time expired.

Tim Derksen scored 21 points and Ofoegbu had 12 with 11 rebounds for the Dons (13-10, 6-6 West Coast Conference), who led by 12 at halftime.

Feagin scored 23 points with a career-high four 3-pointers for the Broncos (8-16, 4-8), Brownridge had 18 and Matt Hubbard had a career-high 16. Brendyn Taylor tied it at 78 with a layup at the end of regulation.
