RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — Secretary of State John Kerry says the State Department will move immediately to review emails that Hillary Rodham Clinton wrote on her personal account when held his job.

But in appearance before reporters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he says that will take time.

Kerry was questioned a day after Clinton sent urged the department to make the emails public. Answering a question, he said, " ... we will undertake this task as rapidly as possible in order to make sure that we are dealing with the sheer volume in a responsible way."

The secretary had been asked whether the department should scrutinize emails outside those already provided by Clinton. Kerry said he thought the department had all the emails related to the State Department, but that he would check.
