NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) — The Federal Bureau of Investigation in Norfolk has announced a community outreach event aimed at promoting cultural awareness and mutual respect.
The event, titled Bridging the Gap, is set for Sept. 15 at the Mariner's Museum in Newport News. It is sponsored by the FBI, the Newport News Police Department, the Norfolk Chapter of the Citizens Academy Alumni Association and the Newport News Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association.
