BOSTON (AP) — A Harvard Law School professor emeritus is suing TD Garden nearly three years after he slipped and fell in an arena bathroom during a Celtics game.

The Boston Globe reports (http://bit.ly/1AJXRhL ) that Alan Dershowitz, an advocate for civil liberties, filed a complaint in Suffolk Superior Court Friday claiming a depleted supply of paper towels near the sinks caused the floor to be wet.

He says this "dangerous condition" allowed water from other men's recently washed hands to drip onto the floor, leading to his slip and fall.

A spokeswoman for the Garden declined to comment on the lawsuit.

Dershowitz was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.

The complaint states he remains in physical therapy after being diagnosed with a sprained ligament which hampers his mobility and keeps him awake at night.
