VERNAL, Utah (AP) — A Uintah County man has been charged with murder in the shooting death of a younger brother earlier this month.

Twenty-seven-year-old Craig Antonio of Ballard was charged Friday in 8th District Court with the death of 23-year-old Tyson Antonio.

Their mother called 911 on April 11 to report she had found the younger son dead in her home.

Craig Antonio is accused of shooting his brother in the head with a rifle during an argument.

According to charging documents, he told a detective that he and his brother had recently used methamphetamine together.

Court records show both he and his brother had prior convictions for drug possession.

His first court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
