BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho labor officials say the state's growth in personal income slightly dipped during the first three months of this year.
The state Department of Labor announced Thursday that Idaho's tenth of a percentage drop in personal income differed with the national average, which saw a less than 1 percent increase in personal income during the same first quarter of 2015.
Personal income growth includes income of all residents and companies, including retired persons. That income includes total earnings from wages, investment enterprises and other ventures.
Department officials say many private sector businesses in Idaho saw earning increases, but seasonal declines in farm earnings caused overall numbers offset any significant growth. Statewide, farm earning dropped 18 percent.
During the first quarter of 2015, Idahoans saw a $94 million increase in property income.
