GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — A person with familiar with the decision says Florida guard Michael Frazier II is leaving school early and entering the NBA draft.

The person spoke to The Associated Press Thursday on the condition of anonymity because Frazier has not officially announced his decision. The person says Frazier is expected to sign with an agent and go through the draft process without considering a return to school.

A two-year starter and one of the top 3-point shooters in the Southeastern Conference, Frazier was second on the team in scoring this season. He averaged 12.1 points and made 57 of 150 shots (38 percent) from behind the arc. He also averaged 4.1 rebounds and shot 87 percent from the free-throw line.

Frazier is widely projected as a mid-to-late second-round pick.
