CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Brooklyn forward Thaddeus Young left the Nets' game Wednesday night against the Charlotte Hornets because of a hyperextended knee. He was ruled out for the rest of the game.

Team officials said X-rays were negative and he will be re-evaluated Thursday.

The injury occurred late in the third quarter when Young collided with Gerald Henderson in the lane after a sudden change of possession.

He remained on the floor for about a minute as teammates gathered around before getting up and walking off the floor with a noticeable limp. He went straight to the locker room.

Young had 11 points on 5-of-12 shooting.
