EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The Giants have signed wide receiver Myles White off their practice squad.

The team announced the move on Wednesday, two days after saying that tight end Daniel Fells would be placed on injured reserve with a staph infection.

Fells caught six passes this season, is being treated for an infection in his ankle, which has been diagnosed as MRSA.

White played in seven games for the Green Bay Packers in 2013, catching nine passes for 66 yards. He suffered a knee injury later in the season and was placed on injured reserve. He spent the 2014 season on the Packers' practice squad.

The Giants signed tight end Dominique Jones of Shepherd University and re-signed wide receiver Julian Talley to the practice squad.
