CHRISTMAS MORNING — There are certain Christmas gifts that just don't make sense in snowy climates. For example, let's say that you give your kid a Power Wheel. Those things aren't cheap, so you're probably sitting there by the tree hoping that they get lots of use out of it.
There's only one problem: The yard is piled with snow and the roads are a slushy mess. Whoops. Nobody's gonna be driving that Power Wheel anywhere outside for a few months.
But you can't just give your kid a vehicle and expect them not to drive it. So you reluctantly clear a path through your family room, allowing your kid to begin driving their new toy. Walls are rammed, doors are smashed, and toes are crushed.
As an adult, you might be able to personally manage the resulting damage. But what about your other children? What if this runaway Power Wheel turns its wrath on other toys? See for yourself in this video:
There's absolutely nothing good that could come from this boy ripping around the house on his police motorcycle. You can actually hear him colliding with various things throughout his joyous ride.
But when the camera rests on his younger sister playing with her new dollhouse, you know that trouble's brewing. In a classic case of, "Well, what did you expect to happen?" the motorcycle slammed into the dollhouse and sent pieces flying.
My only hope is that this poor sister got some serious compensation for the incident. In my mind, the only fair resolution would probably be for her to get the motorcycle and her brother to inherit the remnants of her dollhouse.
