AKRON, Ohio — Employees at an auto business in Ohio found a unique way to stop crime.

Fed up with break-ins and theft, workers at Arlington Auto Wrecking took matters into their own hands and stopped a suspected thief in mid-air.

Workers say a man broke into a car at the business for a third time in September. So, this time they got a forklift and raised the suspect — and the car — 20 feet off the ground until police arrived.

"It was pretty impressive, honestly," an officer is heard saying in the video (although police generally advise the public not to approach criminal suspects).

Officers found the alleged burglar in the car and arrested him for investigation of criminal trespassing and possession of criminal tools. They pointed out a number of recent break-ins and catalytic converter thefts and asked the man why he had a saw with him.

His answer: "Uh, copper to be honest brother, not gonna lie."
