SALT LAKE CITY — We've all seen it on the roads: unsafe driving. The Utah Department of Transportation has seen it, too.

Vehicles operating at a weight of over 10,000 pounds can get inspected at Utah's eight motor carrier ports of entry, keeping those drivers and the rest of us a bit safer on Utah roads.

And, boy, the state crews have seen things that no one should try at home, or anywhere else.

UDOT recently produced a video to warn us against doing things that shouldn't be done.

Duct tape and rope have a valued place in society, but not like the UDOT video shows.

Safety is a responsibility we all share.
