EAGLE MOUNTAIN — An Eagle Mountain home is suspected to be a total loss after a "very heavily involved" house fire Monday night, firefighters said.

Firefighters responded at 8:13 p.m. to the home on Trail Rider Peak Drive, according to Kelly Bird, a Unified Fire spokesman. Firefighters worked on the fire for 30-45 minutes before it was put out.

The residents were believed to be outside the home when an explosion occurred in the garage and caused the fire, Bird said.

No one was injured in the fire.

Saratoga Springs and Unified fire departments responded.
