KAMAS, Summit County — An 18-year-old man died Thursday in a crash near Kamas in Summit County, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

The crash took place about 4:30 p.m. on state Route 32, according to UHP. A southbound Subaru spun into oncoming traffic lanes and crashed into a northbound Audi, troopers said.

The 18-year-old man who was driving the Subaru was not wearing a seatbelt and died in the crash, UHP said. He was not identified. The driver of the Audi had minor injuries.

State Route 32 was closed in the area as troopers investigate the crash, but as of 9:45 p.m. the road had reopened in the area. Further details about the crash weren't available.
