HUNTSVILLE — One person is dead after a crash that happened in Weber County near Huntsville on Friday morning, the Utah Highway Patrol said.
According to a press release from the agency, it happened about 10:40 a.m. when a white Chevy pickup was driving east on state Route 39. The pickup, for unknown reasons, drifted right from the roadway, partially overturned and hit a large tree.
The driver died from injuries sustained on impact, the release says. Excessive speed and impairment are not suspected.
Further information, including the identity of the driver, was not released.
