KAYSVILLE — One person was killed after a car slammed into the back of a bus pulled over at a bus stop Tuesday afternoon, according to the Utah Transit Authority.
Around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, a bus was at a bus stop on 100 S. Main Street in Kaysville, according to UTA spokesman Carl Arky. A vehicle crashed into the back of the bus and a person in the car died, Arky said. Two people were transported to a nearby hospital, according to the Kaysville Fire Department.
No other details were given about the victims or the speed of the car.
Traffic was restricted in the area but was cleared up by Tuesday evening.
Utah Highway Patrol and the Kaysville Police Department are investigating the incident.
