FOUNTAIN GREEN, Sanpete County — Two people were transported by medical helicopter to a hospital in critical condition following a crash on Friday, Utah Highway Patrol confirmed Saturday.
The crash occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on Friday on state Route 132 at mile post 53 near Fountain Green, UHP trooper Hull confirmed. He stated that a southbound driver drifted into the northbound lane and hit the incoming driver head-on.
Hull said the cause of the crash is currently unknown and is under investigation. The identities of the individuals injured were not released.
Following transport, both individuals were updated to stable condition, Hull said.
