THE WINDY SLOPES — If you're heading out to ski, you might want to check how windy it's supposed to be up on the mountain before you leave.
If you don't, you could get stuck in a situation like this.
The video, sent to KSL by Scott Jones, shows the conditions at Snowbasin Resort on Monday. And to say it was pretty windy would be an understatement.
"The winds were so strong, and it was so funny to try and watch all of the skiers make it off of Strawberry’s Ridge," Jones wrote. "What a crazy and cold day at Snowbasin."

"Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" sounds like it will live up to the hype.Crazy and cold is right. In the video, it looks like it was nearly impossible to get any actual skiing done. The skiers make their best attempts, though, as the wind basically pelts ice and snow into their faces. Definitely not ideal conditions, but based on the laughs you can hear in the video, everyone was still having a good time.
So enjoy the video, but know that you might want to put on a scarf before you press play. It's sure to make you shiver just a little when you see how cold it was.
