DUBLIN — It’s doubtful, but maybe you heard of a recent little event across the pond called The Royal Wedding.

It was a no-big-deal thing attended by hundreds and watched by millions all over the world. And it’s almost guaranteed that a good portion of that million wished they were at St. George’s Chapel to see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot. After all, it’s basically a real-life fairytale.

But there may be only one little girl in the world who was 100 percent sure she was going to “Meghan’s wedding” even though she 100 percent did not get an invitation.

That little girl is named Lola, and this absolute sweetheart is about to break your heart in this video.

The whole sad reveal started when Lola asked her mom, “Mum, is my dress for Meghan’s wedding in London or are we going to pick it up on the way to the airport to go to London,” according to the video description. That’s when Ashlee Brown knew some royal wires were crossed.

You can almost see the wheels spinning in Lola’s brain and she works through the grieving process. Her very real tears turn into desperate logic, and then you really start to feel her pain when she asks, “Am I not a real princess?” It’s a true melt-your-heart moment.

Lola doesn’t get a fairytale ending, but she does get a regular human ending of real comfort and a promise of “girlie shopping.”
