LUNCHTIME — For many women, wearing makeup is a daily norm.

Some of us love it and some of us hate it. Some of us have a five-minute routine and some of use do a full-face of makeup every day no matter what the day looks like.

No matter how much time one spends on makeup, the hardest feature to keep in place is, of course, lipstick. Sure, if you’re OK with starving or becoming severely dehydrated, you can keep your lipstick on point for hours on end. But the second you need to eat or drink, boom, your perfectly painted lips are but a memory.

But all is not lost. There is a way to eat, drink and keep a perfect lip. Yes, sometimes dreams do come true.

This “instructional” video comes from a lovely lady via Facebook. It’s a technique you will need to watch to fully understand the concept and effort, but I will do my best to explain what you might need to do to perfect the motions after watching.

As far as I can tell, the first thing you need to do is study carp and goldfish and find the muscles you need to really work your mouth like said fish. Next, you may wish to study the Xenomorph for the movie “Aliens” to have an idea of how far you need to pull your lips up to keep them clear of your teeth. Last, you need to watch a master at work, so come back and visit the featured video again.

If you think of any other tips for learning this lipstick saving technique, don’t be shy and list them below.
