THE WEST COAST — Every Pac-12 home team won in the last week of the regular season.

While South-winning USC (10-2, 8-1 Pac-12) finished its season last week, the rest of the league took to the field, fighting for either the North championship or bowl eligibility.

Washington State’s loss to Washington sent Stanford to the top of the North. The Cardinal will meet the Trojans in Santa Clara on Saturday to decide the conference winner. Both UCLA and Utah finished their regular season with senior night wins to seal postseason play.

Here’s a look at how the league performed in Week 13.

Arizona (7-5, 5-4) at Arizona State (7-5, 6-3)

Score: Arizona State 42, Arizona 30

Game recap: Arizona State struggled in the game’s first half, but as soon as Arizona quarterback Khalil Tate went out with a shoulder injury, the Sun Devils rallied. The home team capitalized off a blocked punt and an interception, putting together two scores to take a come-from-behind lead. Backup quarterback Brandon Dawkins helped cut Arizona State’s lead to 35-30 early in the fourth quarter with a 50-yard running score. However, the Sun Devils sealed the Territorial Cup win with a 9-yard touchdown pass with under five minutes remaining.

Key stat: Sun Devils running back Demario Richard ran for 165 yards and two touchdowns.

Conference implication: Arizona State finished second in the South, while Arizona finished third.

Next opponent: Both teams will go to a bowl, but Arizona’s postseason game would’ve been better had it defeated Arizona State.

California (5-7, 2-7) at UCLA (6-6, 4-5)

Score: UCLA 30, California 27

Game recap: With Jim Mora out of the head coaching job, UCLA rallied behind interim head coach Jedd Fisch. While California overcame a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to tie the game with two minutes left, the Bruins kicked a 37-yard field goal with four seconds left on the clock to finish their perfect home record on the season.

Key stat: UCLA finished its season winning all six games at the Rose Bowl and losing all six road games.

Conference implication: UCLA finished fourth in the South. California finished fifth in the North.

Next opponent: While UCLA is bowl-bound, California’s offseason starts now.

Colorado (5-7, 2-7) at Utah (6-6, 3-6)

Score: Utah 34, Colorado 13

Game recap: Utah heavily relied on its ground game to push through the Buffaloes to bowl eligibility. Colorado struggled to stop the run, allowing both quarterback Troy Williams and running back Zack Moss to find the end zone twice in the first half. With Utah up 28-0 at intermission, it didn’t seem like Colorado could push the gas petal hard enough to come from behind. Utah wouldn’t get another touchdown, but relied on two field goals to add to its score and secure postseason play.

Key stat: Utah finished with 310 rushing yards, 9 yards short of Colorado’s total yards.

Conference implication: Utah finished fifth in the division. After playing in the conference championship last year, Colorado finished last in the South.

Next opponent: Utah awaits to find where it will play a bowl game. Colorado will miss the postseason.

Oregon State (1-11, 0-9) at Oregon (7-5, 4-5)

Score: Oregon 69, Oregon State 10

Game recap: Oregon scored on its first eight possessions to have a 52-7 advantage going into halftime. The Ducks added three more scores — the Beavers managed three more points — to exceed the Civil War’s previous record for margin of victory (44).

Key stat: Ducks running back Royce Freeman broke the Pac-12 record for career rushing touchdowns, previously held by Oregon State’s Ken Simonton (59).

Conference implication: Oregon finished fourth in the North. Oregon State finished last in its division.

Next opponent: Oregon will partake in the postseason while Oregon State’s season is over.

Stanford (9-3, 7-2) vs. Notre Dame (9-3)

Score: Stanford 38, Notre Dame 20

Game recap: Stanford didn’t need to do much, getting an automatic bid to the conference championship with Washington beating Washington State. The game was close throughout the third quarter, but a meltdown in the fourth quarter by the Fighting Irish sent the Cardinal out with a victory. Stanford turned a 20-17 deficit to a 38-20 lead, thanks to two turnovers.

Key stat: Stanford quarterback threw a career-high four touchdowns for 176 yards.

Conference implication: Stanford finishes first and wins the North title.

Next opponent: Stanford travels to Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara to meet USC in the conference title game on Saturday.

Washington State (9-3, 6-3) at Washington (10-2, 7-2)

Score: Washington 41, Washington State 14

Game recap: Washington put the game away in the first half with a 24-0 lead. Washington State quarterback Luke Falk, who threw three interceptions and had a fumble, led the Cougars to two scores in the fourth quarter to avoid head coach Mike Leach’s first shutout.

Key stat: The Cougars finished with -24 rushing yards.

Conference implication: Despite the better overall record, Stanford held the tiebreaker in the conference record — disqualifying Washington out of the title game and putting the Huskies in second place of the North. All Washington State had to do was beat Washington for a trip to the conference championship. Instead, it finishes the season third in its division.

Next opponent: Both Washington and Washington State await to learn where they will play in the postseason.
