SALT LAKE CITY — A man was shot in the leg early Monday in the area near the Utah State Fairpark.

Salt Lake police responded to a report of a shooting about 6 a.m. near 1000 West and 160 North.

Two people were detained for questioning, said police detective Keith Horrocks. He did not immediately know whether those two were arrested or released.

Information about what led up to the shooting was still being collected, Horrocks said.
