KANAB — Police recovered 12 pounds of marijuana and 60 guns from a man’s home last week after a 6-month drug investigation in the Kanab area.

Gerald Ginn, 71, was arrested on Oct. 13, according to Kane County Sheriff’s Office.

He faces charges including distribution of a controlled substance, possession of controlled substances, multiple counts of possession of a firearm by a restricted person and possession of drug paraphernalia, the sheriff’s office posted on their Facebook page.

In addition to the marijuana and guns, police also recovered hashish, concentrated THC oils, scales and a large sum of cash.

The sheriff’s office said they anticipate more arrests in the investigation, which is ongoing.

The Kane County Drug Task Force was handling the investigation with help from Kanab City Police and the Kane County Sheriff’s Office.
