Watson's big gift
Deshaun Watson, formerly of Clemson but now the starting quarterback for the Houston Texans, did something unique with his first NFL game check.
As you know, Houston was hit pretty hard by Hurricane Harvey, and that extends to employees of the Texans who worked in the team's cafeteria. Watson decided to donate his first check to three cafeteria workers who needed the help in recovery.
Wentz fulfills a promise
Watson wasn't the only quarterback who donated his game check. This time, Carson Wentz, the Philadelphia Eagles' QB, said that he would "freaking give him my paycheck ... I’ll give him my game check if he makes this." This, of course, refers to the 61-yard field goal that Jake Elliott hit that won the game for the Eagles last Sunday.
So, as promised, Wentz is giving his game check up, but not to Elliott. Instead, it's going to a charity of Elliott's choice:
Good for everyone involved.
Unfortunate glitch
The video game NBA 2K18 was just released, and of course, it has a few glitches. This one, though, has to hurt for Thunder fans:
