SALT LAKE CITY — We asked and you voted.

Deciding on a favorite Utah attraction is no easy task, but thousands of faithful KSL.com readers stepped up to the challenge. In round one, we pitted 64 attractions recommended by the Utah Office of Tourism against each other in a bracket. We tallied the results to determine who would move on to the round of 32.

Now, it’s your turn to vote again.

Warning: If you’re one of the people who complained about it being too hard to choose between two beloved locations in the first round, it’s only going to get harder from here. (Here’s looking at you, commenters who thought Goblin Valley State Park shouldn’t have been put up against Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area).

Poll round 2: Which Utah attraction is best?

A mix of attractions made it through to the second round, ranging from massive national parks like Arches to Lagoon and Thanksgiving Point. Below are some interesting numbers from the round of 64.

  • The closest vote: Antelope Island (2,323) vs. Wasatch Mountain (2,288)
  • Biggest upset: Anasazi State Park (2,450) vs. Alta (2,180)
  • Most decisive win: Zion National Park (7,937) vs. Eagle Point Resort (277)
Voting for each round runs through midnight of the day the story is posted. The Sweet 16 will go live Monday.
