CHICAGO (AP) — At least four people have been shot in Chicago's Park Manor neighborhood on the city's South Side.

Police spokesman Officer Thomas Sweeney says the victims were approached by someone on foot late Wednesday, who opened fire and then fled in a vehicle.

Chicago Fire Department officials said three men and one woman were taken to area hospitals in serious-to-critical condition late Wednesday. Police say a 20-year-old woman of unknown age shot in the head and a 20-year-old man shot in the chest were the most seriously injured.

The others injured were a man shot in the left thigh and a 20-year-old man shot in the arm and back.

The Chicago Tribune reports the four were among at least 13 shooting victims in the city since early Wednesday afternoon. There were no immediate reports of fatalities.
